Beef Rub

This rub works great on any beef recipe on the grill or smoker.  I regularly use this when smoking beef ribs, Beef Tri-Tip, and Brisket.  It can be strong so be sure to apply it light and evenly on your brisket or ribs and not heavily caked on.

Beef Rub

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl
  2. Store in an airtight container
